Important
If a mini-GBIC is installed in slot 17-18, the associated RJ-45 port 17-18 is disabled and
cannot be used. Make sure the network cable is not connected to RJ-45 port 17-18 when
you install or remove a mini-GBIC.
1. Insert the module into the SFP slot.
2. Press firmly to ensure that the module seats into the connector.
Power notice
The product is a power-required device, meaning it will not work until it is powered. Consider using
an UPS (Uninterupted Power Supply) in order to avoid network data loss or network downtime.
Installing a surge suppression device may also help to protect the product from being damaged by
unregulated surge or current to the product or the power cord.
How to use the Mode/Reset button
By pressing the Mode/Reset button for certain period of time, users can perform the following tasks.
• Change between port status mode Link/Act/Speed and PoE.
• Reset the product to the previous configuration settings saved.
• Restore the product to the original factory default settings.
