– Important Features:
- Up to 8 TX4s can be synchronized with one RX4 receiver making it possible for seve-
ral people on a team to configure the same equipment.
- Larger number of CD/DVD Player models already available in its memory.
- Key lock function prevents accidental activation of the control keys.
- Sequence of commands "Volume (-)" available through the attenuation function (ATT-).
NOTE: Install as far away from amplifiers as possible.
– Installing your SX4:
You can install the receiver in a hidden place or somewhere visible so that you can
monitor its LED indicator (09). It is important that the antenna (12) is not blocked by the
car's body or other metal parts that will obstruct the reception of the radio waves. It may
be installed parallel to the edge of a window since glass does not block the reception or
inside the glove compartment and drawers.
The power cord (13) is polarized. The wire with a white stripe should be connected
to the positive terminal and the black wire to the negative one. The power source can
be an automotive battery, 9V battery or even a USB port.
The Infrared Transmitter (14) should be placed so that it points toward the control
panel of the equipment to be configured, make sure nothing is between the two.
– The 2nd Function key (2nd/Power):
Each of the TX4's 5 keys can perform two functions.
When you quickly press the 2nd/Power key (02) the LED indicator (01) lights up to show
that the second function is active, pressing the key again will turn off the LED and return
the keys to their first function.
Second function remains active for 5 seconds and then the LED indicator turns off auto-
matically and the keys return to their first function.
Exemple: The + key's first function (LED indicator (01) off) is to increase the volume
of the equipment, but when the second function is activated, it functions as a Play/
Pause key.
To use the Power function, press and hold the 2nd/Power key for at least 2 seconds
until the LED indicator (01) flashes indicating that the command was transmitted.
