- Mowing exerts a considerable load on the transmission
gearbox (16). For this reason, the cover was made from sturdy
material and fastened by many adjustment screws. Routinely
check to see that the screws are tight enough.
- Change the cover trim on the transmission gearbox whenever
necessary.
BLADES:
The mowing blades are very sharp and dangerous, so when changing them, use the wrench (29)
supplied with the machine.
Install only OEM blades (20). These blades have two cutting edges and last twice as long by installing
them on the drum and then on the opposite side as well. Assembling and detaching them is extremelly
easy using the special supplied wrench (29).
Push the blade holders (30) using the special wrench (29), change the blade (14), remove the wrench
(29) and, then check for good fastening of the blade. Clean the scraps of fodder in this area and then
check for proper fastening of the blade holder pins.
CAUTION:
The blade holder pins must be routinely inspected.
Check if the pin diameter is equal to 7 mm (as shown in the below figure).
If they are smaller than this measurement, the blade holders must be replaced.
