Purpose
The Drum Mower SN-165 was manufactured exclusively for mowing plants used for making pre-dried
hay or silage, such as alfalfa, oatmeal, ryegrass, coast-cross, clover, rhodes, in fact, any plants with
thin stalks which grow near the ground, especially herbs.
Coupling to the tractor
The Drum Mower is prepared for coupling to the three points, category I and II (fig.01). If it is necessary
to adjust the driveshaft, proceed as shown in figure 2. Place both parts parallel and mark the place for
cutting the ends, leaving 25 millimeters of play.
Remove the driveshaft from the machine and cut it.
Fasten the hydraulic arms rigidly the chains of bars so that the Drum Mower is placed in the correct
position. Adjust the hydraulic amrs so that the drums are aligned in the correct operating position
(fig.03).
This adjustment must be done in such a way so the Drum Mower is lifted in parallel alignment.
Hitch the upper arm in a lower hole on the Drum Mower or higher on in the tractor to do this.
