installed and connected by quali-
fied electricians.
Failure to observe the instructions can
result in damage to the device, fire or
other dangers.

applicable regulations and standards for
SELV circuits for mounting and cable rout-
ing.
Do not press on the sensor window. That
could damage the device.
The device is not suitable for use in burglar
alarm technology or alarm technology.
These instructions are part of the product
and must remain with the end customer.
System information
This device is a product of the KNX system
and complies with the KNX guidelines.
Detailed specialist knowledge acquired in
KNX training courses is required to under-
stand the system.
The functionality of the device depends on
the software. Detailed information on soft-
ware versions and their scope of functions as
well as the software itself can be found in the
product database. KNX-certified software is
used for planning, mounting and starting up
the device. The product database and techni-
cal descriptions are always available in their
latest version on our website.

- Suitable for indoor and outdoor ceiling
mounting and wall installation.
Product properties
- Ground and rear field monitoring.
- Test mode for evaluation of the detection
range.
- Individual adaptation of the detection
range via the enclosed, cut-to-size cover-
ing panel.
- Glare protection, brightness-independent
sensor evaluation for 60 seconds in the
event of glare caused by extraneous light.
- Switching the lighting for up to 2 light out-
puts.
- Switching to basic lighting when no one is
present.
- Brightness-independent switching when
persons are present.
- Brightness-dependent switching regard-
less of whether or not persons are present.
- Output of the measured brightness value.
- Cyclic transmission of a telegram (heart-
beat).
- Optional: Remote control via IR remote
control PIR KNX.
