Stations 1 and 4 are the higher speed stations. Speed is <550 RPM. We recommend installing the included VLD
debur and chamfering tools in these locations. The optional carbide chamfer and debur tools function best at
these higher speeds.
Stations 2, 3, 5 and 6 can be used for any of the other included or optional tools. Speed at these stations is
<350 RPM.
Non rotating stations 7 and 8 are used for mounting two of the four included polymer case neck brushes.
You probably noticed that station #4 has a taller threaded post. This post has wrench fl ats machined on its sides
and allows you to use a wrench to "lock up" the gears to remove or install any of the cutters and accessories.

Once your selected tools are installed, install your desired AC power cord into the DC power supply. Install
the DC plug into the jack at the rear bottom of the Brass Boss. Plug the AC power cord into a grounded power
source and turn the Brass Boss on to your desired speed using the adjustable speed on/off knob found at the
rear bottom of the unit. The variable speed control of the Brass Boss allows you to "tune" the installed tools to
the optimum working RPM. Steel cutting tools work better at higher RPM than optional carbide tools.
