ATTENTION: The data required by the current legislation are reported on the Fix&Go kit
label. Before using, carefully read all warnings and instructions for use. Do not use sealing
liquid after the expiry date shown on the label. Show the sealant container and the label to the
personnel handling the tire treated with the repair kit. Fix&Go is a temporary tire repair system;
after its use, visit a repair center as soon as possible. The kit repairs punctures that occurred
solely on the tread of the tire; if the puncture hole exceeds 6 mm / 0.24" in diameter and/or is
located in other areas of the tire, do not use the kit and call road assistance. Do not remove any
foreign object lodged into the tire. The sealant liquid is effective at temperatures ranging from
-40°C / -40°F to + 50°C / +122°F. Do not leave the compressor on for more than 20 minutes:
unit overheating hazard. The sealant does not damage the tire or the pressure sensors (TPMS).
REPAIR
Fix&Go
1. Park the vehicle in a safe area and pull the parking brake. Take the kit. Insert
the sealant canister [1] into the compressor [6] compartment, pressing it firmly
downwards. Remove the punctured tire valve cap and connect the transparent
sealant hose [5]. (Fig.
).
2. Make sure that the on-off button [4] is in the off position (button not pressed).
Insert the electrical connector [9] into the vehicle 12V socket. Turn on the
engine. (Fig.
).
3. Turn on the compressor by pressing the on-off button [4]. (Fig.
soon as the sealant has been poured into the tire and the pressure gauge [2]
indicates the ideal pressure specified on the use and maintenance manual of
the vehicle, continue with the instructions referred to in point 4 of this booklet.
If, after 15 minutes from the moment in which the compressor was
turned on, the pressure gauge [2] indicates a pressure lower than 1.3
bar / 19 psi: power off the compressor, disconnect the transparent
sealant hose [5], remove the canister [1] by lifting it and pressing the
release button [7] and screw in the cap of the tire valve. Move the
vehicle so that the tire makes about 5 turns, to allow the sealant to be
distributed evenly in it. Stop the vehicle again. Remove the cap from
the valve of the tire and connect to it the black air hose [8]. Turn on the
compressor until it reaches the ideal pressure specified in the use and
maintenance manual of the vehicle, then continue with the instructions
referred to in step 4 of this booklet. If, after 15 minutes, the pressure
continues to be lower than 1.3 bar / 19 psi, THE TIRE IS TOO DAMAGED
TO BE REPAIRED: put the kit in its housing and call road assistance.
4. Turn off the compressor by pressing the on-off button [4] and disconnect the
kit from the vehicle. Remove the canister [1], lifting it and pressing the release
button [7]. (Fig.
). Screw in the cap of the tire valve.
5. Apply the maximum speed sticker [10] in a clearly visible position and
immediately resume driving, respecting the limit indicated and without abruptly
accelerating or braking. After driving for about 10 minutes, park in a safe area
by pulling the parking brake and leave the engine of the vehicle on (Fig.
6. Take the kit and make sure that the on-off button [4] is in the off position.
Insert the electrical connector [9] into the vehicle 12V socket. Remove the cap
from the valve of the tire and connect to it the black air hose [8]. Check the tire
pressure, if it is:
a. equal to or greater than 1.3 bar / 19 psi: power on the compressor until
the ideal pressure specified on the use and maintenance manual of
the vehicle is reached. If the specified pressure is exceeded, press
the air release button [3]. (Fig.
disconnect and put the kit in its housing inside the vehicle. Drive
carefully and reach a repair center or the assistance network of the
manufacturer as soon as possible.
b. lower than 1.3 bar / 19 psi: THE TIRE IS TOO DAMAGED TO BE
REPAIRED. Put the kit in its housing and call roadside assistance.
