3. Place the lid on the juice bowl so that the pulp
opening is positioned over the pulp spout. Position
the back of the lid over the edges of the pulp spout
first; then lower the lid to fit firmly against the juice
bowl (D).
D
4. Engage the lid locking lever with the safety lock
hook on the feed chute (E). You should hear a click
as it locks in place.
Important: Your juice extractor will not operate if the
lid locking lever is not properly locked.
E
5. Tilt the pulp container slightly and place it directly
beneath the pulp opening. Push the bottom of pulp
container inward so top edge slides up, behind the
pulp spout. Continue to press firmly on the bottom
of the pulp basket until it fits snugly against the
base (F). When correctly positioned, pulp container
will be completely covered by the pulp opening in
the lid.
Tip: To make cleaning easier, you may wish to line the
pulp container with a scrap bag or small trash bag to
catch the pulp as you juice.
F
6. Place the lid on top of the juice pitcher and position
the pitcher to fit the juice spout into the opening at
the back of the pitcher. Be sure that the juice spout
empties through the opening in the pitcher lid (G).

7. Place the food pusher assembly in the feed chute
until you are ready to juice. To insert, align the
metal ridge on the large food pusher with the
groove on the feed chute. Push down, so the food
pusher unlocks the feed chute hatch and fits fully
into the feed chute (H). (For more information on
the different sizes of food pushers, refer to USING
THE FOOD PUSHERS.)
H
USING THE FOOD PUSHERS
Note: The food pusher has 2 parts; the smaller inner section locks into the larger
outer section.
For Smaller Produce:
1. For small fruits and vegetables, remove the small
food pusher by holding the large food pusher with
one hand and twisting counterclockwise until the
lock of the inner section is disengaged; lift the
small food pusher straight up (J).
2. Place the large food pusher into the feed chute,
matching the metal ridge on the food pusher with
the groove on the feed chute.
J
3. Push down, so the large pusher unlocks the feed
chute hatch and fits fully into the feed chute (K).
4. Use the small food pusher to help guide the fruits
and vegetables through the opening in the large
food pusher.
K
For Larger Produce:
When using larger pieces of fruits or vegetables,
replace the small food pusher in the large food pusher
and use the assembled piece to help guide the larger
fruits and vegetables through the feed chute. Match
the notches on the small food pusher with the tabs on
the large food pusher and twist the top clockwise until
the small pusher is locked in place (L).
