Translation of the original operating instructions
The 230 V AC sockets are intended only for the operation of protection
class II devices. The devices to be connected must be marked with the
following symbol:
The output of the inverter at the Schuko socket carries life-threatening
mains voltage 230 V AC! The national installation and safety regula-
tions for protection against electric shock must be observed (protec-
tion against contact with live parts, insulation regulations).
To protect against insulation faults in the connected devices and for univer-
sal use, the output (230 V AC) of the inverter is designed in such a way that
it is galvanically separated (fully isolated) from both the battery side (DC)
and the housing, i.e. it is not grounded internally either with phase or with
neutral (protection class II).
Only use the existing 230 V sockets to supply external devices. Never
connect the AC output directly to the electrical house installation un-
der any circumstances.
Connection to the mains supply may result in electric shock, injury or fire.
No liability is assumed for damages caused due to non-compliance with these in-
structions. You are required to read the operating instructions before using the device
for the first time. In case of doubts regarding the connection and operation of the de-
vice, contact T.I.P. Technische Industrie Produkte GmbH. Please note that our de-
vices have not been intentionally designed for commercial, handicraft-related or in-
dustrial use. We do not assume any warranty if the device is used in commercial,
handicraft or industrial companies as well as for corresponding activities.
1.4
Residual risks and prevention
Do not connect metal objects to the AC output.
This could result in electric shock, fire, etc.
Direct electrical contact with wet hands can cause electrical shocks.
Avoid contacting the device with wet hands.
Never connect the AC output directly to the electrical house installa-
tion under any circumstances.
Do not use the device or extension cable if the power cable is dam-
aged or defective.
DO NOT charge the device exceeding the specified input voltages.
This could result in electric shock, fire, etc.
Ensure that the device to be connected is switched off prior to con-
necting it to the TRAVELBOX.
A device which starts suddenly can cause accidents or injuries.
All electrical consumers must be disconnected from the device by remov-
ing the plugs when the internal protection function is activated or when
the TRAVELBOX is automatically switched off.
