BEFORE FIRST USE
During manufacture,many parts are given a thin film of protective oil.before using
the appliance for the first time,heat it up without any food so that any residues can
evaporate.
Note: When heating up for the first few times a slight smell may be
produced,make sure the room is adequatedly ventilated.
1.
Take the appliance and all the accessory parts out of the packaging.
2.
Check that the appliance shows no signs of damage
3.
Remove any labels or stickers(but not the type plate on the underside)
4.
Clean the appliance before using it for the first time.
5.
Select a location that is firm,level and not flammable.Maintain a distance of
approx.50cm from other objects
6.
Make sure that the knob is on "MIN" position before plug in. Check that the
supply voltage is 220-240V~50/60Hz.
7.
Turn knob on Max FOR around 10-15 minutes
8.
Turn knob on Min and take out the mains plug and allow the appliance to cool
down.
9.
Clean the appliance again.
USE AND OPERATION
Preparing the appliance, move on and off
1.
Select a location that is firm,level and not flammable. Maintain a distance of
approx. 50 cm from other objects
2.
Lightly grease raclette pans on the inside and grill cover on the top. Warning:
The hooks on grill cover are very sharp.Be careful not to injure yourself on
them and use a pastry brush slightly moistened with edible oil.
3.
Pour a little stock into the edge of grill cover.the grill cover may be filled with a
maximum of 400 ml of liquid.
4.
Insert the mains plug into a suitable wall socket which complies with
teachnical data.
5.
Turn on knob to Max,the indicator is red and appliance heats up.
6.
Allow the appliance to heat up for around 10 minutes. The appliance is now
ready to use.
