• Each computer that will use the PL-X31 must have its TCP/IP settings
properly configured.
Note: Do not connect the PL-X31 to a power strip, extension cord, or surge protector
as this may prevent them from working properly or degrade the network performance.
4. Setting up your PL-X31
The PL-X31 HomePlug AV Ethernet Adapter enables you to enjoy lag-free network
computer games, and run media applications for video streaming and Voice Over
Internet Protocol (VoIP) calls.
1. Plug the Ethernet cable which is bundled in your PL-X31 package into a LAN
port on your router or switch in your network.
2. Plug the other end of your PL-X31 into a power outlet and connect the device
to a computer.
