DESCRIPTION
It is a converter HD-SDI into HDMI signals and a repeater of HD-SDI signals.
USE
The device can be used for two functions:
1. Converter: it allows to convert HD-SDI video signals coming from HD and Full HD cameras into HDMI
signals to be used on monitor with HDMI inputs.
2. Repeater: it allows to perform more sections of cables through the repetition of the HD-SDI signal; every
section can be up to 250 meters, depending to type and quality of the used cable.
INSTALLATION
The device used as converter has to be inserted between the source device (camera) and the receiver
device (monitor), along the video cable, to be installed close to the receiver device.
The device used as repeater has to be inserted in cascade among the source device, another repeater and
the receiver device, along the video cable.. In outdoor installations, the use of a watertight box is
necessary.

TYPICAL CONFIGURATION

The device comes with 2 female BNC connectors (IN and OUT), an HDMI output and a power connector
for external power supply 12VDC / 1A (i.e. the Urmet 1092/801 power supply unit).
Converter mode
Repeater mode
In order to guarantee maximum distances, terminate the unused video output with 75 Ohm.
Working is guaranteed with the devices (cameras/monitors/DVRs/etc.) of the Urmet CCTV catalogue. The
1092/401 monitor is not compatible.
