FLYWHEEL REMOVAL/ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Flywheel hub
Please reuse the flywheel from the existing pump.
Taper Lock Hub Flywheel
Removal
1. Loosen flywheel bolt two full turns. Do not remove bolt. This will prevent damage to shaft threads when
flywheel comes loose.
2. Using a 2 or 3 jaw wheel puller, insert jaws through blade sections and hook jaws on hub of flywheel. DO
NOT HOOK JAWS ON FAN BLADES! Place the puller jackscrew on the center of the flywheel bolt. Tighten
the jackscrew to loosen the flywheel.
3. Remove the flywheel bolt, washer and flywheel.
Assembly
1. Place flywheel over crankshaft. Start bolt/washer into crankshaft. Torque bolt to 50 ft.-lbs.
