Not suited for use in barns!
a.) Installation
Assemble the earth electrode (8) as shown in the above figure; screw the earth connecting cable (9) onto the earth
electrode with the fastening screw. Drive the earth electrode vertically into the ground up to the fastening screw and then
attach the appliance via the opening (10). The appliance can also be screwed on separately with the upper part of the
earth electrode onto a vertical post or similar object. Alternatively, the appliance can be mounted without using the earth
electrode (8), in which case it is positioned on the support (11) through an angle of 45°! The solar surfaces must always
be oriented 45° to the sun!
b.) Functional check of the appliance
Prior to the first use of the appliance, the built-in accumulator must be charged for approx. 12 hours using the mains
charger provided. To this end, remove the plug (2) and reinsert it when charging is completed. Put the the appliance into
service without fence and earth. If the fence light (7) flashes green, the appliance is ready for use. If the fence light (7)
does not flash or the accumulator light (6) still flashes after completion of the charging, have the appliance checked by a
technician.
c.) Functional description with connected fence system ( fence + earth )

If the fence light (7) flashes faster than approx. once per second, the appliance must be disconnected at once and
checked by a technician before it can be used again.
If the appliance is not used for a prolonged period of time, the accumulator must be recharged at least every 3 months
using the mains charger provided. The charger may remain connected to the appliance during this period. Clean the solar
surfaces at regular intervals using a damp cloth. When disposing of the appliance the lead-gel accumulator must be
disposed of in accordance with the legal provisions!
