Betriebsanleitung | Manual de usuario | Operating instructions
This device is a digital temperature controller for resistive loads and must not
exceed the values given in the technical specification section of this
document.
This device has been tested and has left its manufacturing site without any defects. If you believe
you have an altered device on your hands, contact your dealer.
2.1
Place of installation
This device is designed to be used as a variable temperature controller for resistive loads. The
mounting location has to be a place away from motors, transformers and any inductive system.
The place has to be free from vibrations. The ambient temperature must be between -20 and 45
degrees Celsius. The maximum humidity should not exceed 90% and there should be no
condensation. Volatile and flammable gases must not be present in the environment of use. There
must also be no aggressive gases that could damage the device.
2.2
Installation
Read the installation instructions carefully and take into account each of the points mentioned
below. If you do not follow these instructions, it is possible that proper operation cannot be
guaranteed and that even the device does not comply with the rules for electromagnetic tolerance
and CE marking.
Before connecting and switching on the device, make sure that the local mains voltage
•
does not exceed the maximum values tolerated by the device. See the technical
specifications section.
Make sure the device is turned off and completely disconnected from the local network
•
before installing it. Also make sure that it is not turned on before the installation is
completely finished.
Make sure there are no errors in the wiring. The connection of the cables must be carried
•
out strictly according to the wiring diagram and national regulations.
Make sure the grounding wire is properly connected.
•
Make sure that none of the wires are under tension. Cables should not be taut, tight, and at
•
risk of being cut.
The cables that connect to the mains and to the consumer must have a minimum thickness.
•
The area of each copper wire must be at least 1.5 mm
