• For 1 ⁄ " - 1 ⁄ " (35 mm - 44 mm) thick doors,

use the 2 ⁄ " (44 mm) thru bolts.

• For 2" - 2 ⁄ " (51 mm - 57 mm) thick doors,

use the 3" (76 mm) thru bolts.
1) With the bolt extended in the locked
position, mount the lock from the outside
of the door. Insert the tailpiece Y into the
vertical cutout of the bolt assembly and
the tailpiece X into the
figure 8-1.
2) Hold the exterior lock assembly firmly
against the door. Try the factory-set
combination. Press buttons #2 and #4
together, release, press button #3, and
release. A distinctive click must be felt to
indicate that the button has been correctly
depressed. Turn the outside thumbturn to
the right (clockwise) to the stop position
and release (the bolt should be fully retrac-
ted). If not, turn the thumbturn to the left
(counterclockwise) to the stop position
and repeat Step 2.
3) While holding the lock firmly against
the outside surface of the door with one
hand, use the other to mount the inside
thumbturn assembly to the interior side of
the door with two thru-bolts finger tight,
figure 8-2. Make sure that tailpiece Y
is engaged into the vertical cutout of the
inside thumbturn assembly.
4) Insert tailpiece X into the horizontal slot of
the combination change assembly, It may be
necessary to use a screwdriver to align tailpiece
X with the combination change assembly,
figures 8-2 & 8-3. Once aligned, secure with
two thru-bolts, but do not tighten, figure 8-4.

1) Con el cerrojo extendido en la posición

cerrojo ensamblado y la parte posterior X
en el agujero de 19 mm (

2) Sujete firmemente la cerradura exterior
contra la puerta. Pruebe la combinación
de fábrica. Oprima simultáneamente los
botones nº 2 y nº 4, suéltelos, oprima el
botón nº 3 y suéltelo. Se deberá oir un
chasquido claro que indique que el botón
se oprimió correctamente.Haga girar la
manija a la derecha hasta que llegue al
tope y suél tela (el cerrojo debería estar
completamente adentro). De lo contrario,
haga girar la manija a la izquierda hasta
que llegue al tope y repita el paso 2.
3) Mientras sujeta firmemente la cerradura
contra la cara exterior de la puerta con
una mano, utilice la otra para montar la
manija interior en la cara interior de la
puerta con dos pernos pasantes ajusta
dos sin herramienta, ilustración 8-2.
Asegúrese de que la pieza posterior Y
queda enganchada en el corte vertical de
la manija interior.
4) Coloque la pieza posterior X en la
ranura horizontal del cilindro de cambio
de combinación. Es posible que sea nece-
sario utilizar un destornillador para alin
ear la parte X con el cilindro de cambio
de combinación, ilustraciones 8-2 y
8-3. Una vez que estén alineados, sujéte-
los con dos pernos, pero no los apriete,
ilustración 8-4.
