3.3 Setting the DIL switch (only for CPX-4AE-T)

Using the switching elements of the dual DIL switch,
set the following functions for temperature module 4AE-T
(see following table):

3.4 Installation
How the sensors and actuators are connected to the ana-
logue I/O module depends on the connection block used.
Note
When connecting sensors and actuators, observe the
instructions in the description of the CPX analogue I/O
module (P.BE-CPX-AX-...).
To transmit analogue signals, use shielded cable only.
Caution
Long signal cables reduce resistance to interference.
Comply with the maximum permissible I/O signal cable
length:
– CPX-4AE-T: 10 m (with measurement error max. 200 m)
– CPX-4AE-TC: 10 m (with measurement error max. 50 m)
The accuracy of measurement of the CPX-4AE-T and
4AE-TC modules decreases after a 10 m cable
length. This measurement error cannot be compen-
sated for.
