V. Precautions for use
Important
- If invalid operation occurs during use, loosen the oil return valve screw on the pump body, set the pump body
vertically with the pump head facing downward, operate the pump for several times, and then tighten the oil return
valve screw, after which the operation can return to normal.
- Do not remove the quick connector if the tool is loaded for fear of the accident and damage to parts.
- The unloading valve can only be operated by operating the oil return valve screw by hand rather than by any tools.
- The hydraulic oil applied in this puller is L-HV15 specified in GB 11118.1-2011 (1S06743/4), which can be used for low
temperature start, and has excellent low temperature fluidity and high temperature protection performance. Its pour
point is -40℃ . The hydraulic oil can be used at both low temperature and high altitude, and shall not be replaced
by other oils. The oil and the puller must be well maintained to avoid blockage or oil leakage, which may affect the
operation effect.
- For the puller that is new or laid aside for a long time, as there is too much air in its cylinder, the piston rod may jump
slightly at the beginning of the operation. In this case, operate the hydraulic puller under no load for 2-3 times to
bleed the air in its cylinder. For the puller that is laid aside for a long time, its seal is hardened as it is not used for a
long time, which will affect the service life of the puller. Therefore, the puller shall be operated under no load for 2-3
times every month when it is not in use.
VI. Safety precautions
Warning
- Please read the Operation Instruction carefully before use. Misoperation may cause product damage or personal
injury.
- Carefully check the puller before each use, and do not use it in case of looseness or damage of any part.
- Do not overload the puller cylinder and do not exceed the clamping pressure. As overloading may lead to equipment
damage or even personal injury, it is strictly prohibited to regulate the pressure range of the safety valve without
authorization.
- Do not extend the cylinder excessively and do not exceed its rated travel; otherwise, unnecessary damage to the
cylinder may be incurred.
- Do not carry out any pressurized operation before the claw is reliably protected by the safe cage. The position of the
safety cage can be adjusted with the adjusting nut so that the safety cage can protect the claw reliably.
- Avoid severe bending and distortion of the hose.
- The unloading valve can only be closed by hand. If the unloading valve is closed with the tool, the unloading valve will
be damaged, leading to pump failure.
- Mind your hands. Keep your hands and figures away from the operating area during operation to avoid personal injury.
- Do not disassemble, assemble, or refit the puller without authorization.
- Keep your body out of the action range of the handle to avoid injuries caused by the rebounded handle in some cases.
- Wear goggles and working gloves conforming to relevant national safety regulations during operation to avoid
personal injury.
