Temperature is very important, and a major factor in the
storing and serving aspects of beer and wine. It also can
become a real balancing act. Beer benefits from cool constant
temperatures; usually around 50-55 degrees F is ideal for
most beers. Higher temperatures and you'll risk shortening
the lifespan of your beer, lower and you'll induce chill haze
(cloudy). Most of your standard ales (like bitters, IPAs,
dobbelbocks,
lambics,
temperature.
Usually
temperature and lower alcohol, the lower temperature ... you
get the point.
Optimal taste and freshness
A simple rule of thumb is that fruits from temperate climates
tend to refrigerate well, while fruits from warm climates do
not. Refrigerate hanging fruits such as apples, plums, pears
and cherries. Leafy greens, broccoli and cauliflower, celery,
beets, asparagus and most other common table vegetables
and herbs are especially perishable, and must be refrigerated.
Many vegetables will last longer when chilled, including
carrots, parsnips, cabbage, turnip and rutabagas.
Keep it best fresh.
Easily slice meats without the need to defrost. Reduces
breakdown associated with freezing and defrosting and keeps
the meat fresh.
