Taring weight display (TARE)

The tare function is useful if an additional weight (such as cloths or a pad on the weighing
surface) are to be ignored in the weighing result. Proceed as follows:
– Place the additional weight on the scale
and press the button NET/kg/lbs.
The note "NET" appears.
– Wait until the display stops flashing and
shows
.
0. 0 00
– You can now perform as many weigh-
ing operations as you like with this addi-
tional weight.
– TARA is deactivated by pressing the
button NET/kg/lbs once again, or by
switching the scales off.
Important!
The maximum additional weight is 10 kg. The maximum weight which can be displayed
is reduced by the weight of the objects already placed on the scale.

Storing the weight value (HOLD)

– Press the HOLD key whilst the load is
on the scale.
The display flashes until a stable weight
has been measured. The display is then
frozen until the next weighing operation
takes place.
– "HOLD" and
display. The triangle with the exclama-
tion mark indicates that this frozen dis-
play is an additional facility which is not
subject to calibration.
– The HOLD function can be switched off
by pressing the HOLD key again.
