SMILE MONITOR INTRODUCTION

The SMILE monitor is an internet protocol-based monitor. It is part of the LYNX system: data,
audio and TCP / IP PoE-based multi-channel video. It communicates with a panel based in
an IP video door phone (the LYNX Audio and Video module).
The SMILE monitor is hands-free, with duplex audio, colour video with 7" touch screen and
additional capacitive buttons for the most common functions.
This is a technological device designed to maximise communication, safety and comfort in
the home. The monitor is mounted on the wall using the SMILE LYNX connector (Ref. 1655).

OPERATION DESCRIPTION: NAVIGATION BUTTONS

Once switched on, the monitor will start up and display the FERMAX logo, fi rmware version
and MAC address. The boot-up process fi nishes in under 60 seconds and the monitor enters
stand-by mode.
Setting the monitor to standby will turn off the screen. To access some of the screen's basic
functions, touch the screen or press the MENU button, which will activate and allow you to
select the icon corresponding to the desired function.
The LED icons can be shown at the top of the monitor frame. These icons are only visible
when the LED is on.
