Electrical connection

Connect the mains cable to correctly installed and earthed
socket 230 V, 50 Hz.
I/0 On/Off switch
• Switch on the appliance. The POWER indicator lights
up to show that the appliance is operating.
• To stop operation, switch off the appliance.
Regulator
Use the regulator to set the required amount of mist.
REFILL indicator
The REFILL indicator lights up when the tank is empty.
Refi lling water
Procedure for refi lling water:
• Switch off the appliance.
• Disconnect the plug from the power socket.
• Empty the tank of any residual water.
ATTENTION Malfunction:
- Water may be present at the bottom of the base unit
(see Fig. B).
- This water must be poured away.
- Dry the area with a cloth.
• Proceed as described under "Filling water".
Ending operation
Procedure for ending operation:
• Switch off the appliance.
• Disconnect the plug from the power socket.
• Empty the appliance completely if it is not going to be
used for an extended period.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Always pull the power supply plug before cleaning and
maintenance.
• Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive items.
• Never use sharp or scouring cleaning materials.
Base unit
WARNING!
Never immerse the base unit in water for cleaning.
It could result in an electric shock or fi re.
• Clean the base unit externally with a dry cloth, without
additives.
You can moisten the cloth slightly to wipe away
extreme soiling.
• The surface on which the tank is placed (see Fig. B)
should be cleaned once a week.
• Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
• Use a few drops of domestic vinegar if necessary and
leave to work for about 5 minutes.
• Subsequently wipe the appliance again.
• Heavy soiling can be removed with a nylon brush.
Tank
• Rinse the tank with clear water.
• Allow the tank to dry before closing it again.
• To remove heavy soiling, add about 100ml of domestic
vinegar to the cleaning water.
• Allow the solution to work for about 10 minutes.
• Subsequently rinse the tank with clear water.
