3.1 DEFINING THE SWEET SPOT
The ANDY LEWIS TRICKLINE has a unique feature: THE SWEET SPOT. It allows the user to define an orien-
tation point. By placing the sweet spot graphics at the spot where the line gives the ideal dynamic features
the slackliner then knows where to get the most amount of air out of the setup.

Start by rolling out the webbing with the graphics facing up. Place the sweet spot graphic where you know
from your experience will be the best bounce in your personal setup. Depending on the tension level the
sweet spot will be between the middle (B) and one third of the distance into the line. (A) Laying out the line
on the floor before tensioning allows you to easily position the sweet spot.
3.2 ANCHORING THE SLACKLINE:
The GIBBON Slackline must only be fixed to trees that have a minimum circumference of 40 inches (1m) or
12 inches (30cm) diameter and a maximum circumference of 70 inches (2,5m). DO NOT ATTACH THE SLACK-
LINE TO ANY TREE THAT CANNOT WITHSTAND A MINIMUM FORCE OF 5000 POUNDS (25 kN/2500kg).
Use GIBBON Treewear to protect trees from any unnecessary damage due to the slackline.
