3. MAINTENANCE

After the first work hours, and on a regular basis thereafter, check that the
spades are fixed tightly to their mounts. This to ensure that that screws will not
be sheared if they have slackened off.
If the spades are bent during cultivating, straighten them without heating them so
as not to alter the heat treatment given the cutting parts.

3.1 CHANGING THE OIL IN THE BEVEL GEAR PAIR

Change the oil after 800 work hours.
To change the oil , remove plug D (fig.11) and turn the cultivator upside down to
ensure that all the oil drains out. Refill with 300 g of new.
It is advisable to use AGIP ROTRA MP SAE 80W/90 oil.
Check the oil level though this same plug D using the dipstick. The cultivator
must be on a level surface.

4. SPARES

When ordering spares form our After-sales Assistance Service, always specify:
Type of cultivator
Cultivator series. Example:
Cultivator model and series: 21M/E
The model and series are stamped on the part shown in fig.12.
Use only original parts.
