• Before using the brushcutter, carefully read the user's and maintenance manual.
• Use good quality gasoline mixed with 4% (25:1) 2-stroke oil, and after using, do not leave gasoline in the
fuel tank.
• Before beginning to trim, check the location where the brushcutter will be used and remove any unusual
objects, such as wires, stones, branches, etc.
• Do not use the brushcutter in the rain or under wet conditions.
• Check and clean the air filter before each use.

Always disconnect spark plug H.T. lead before any work.
Spool fitting
1. Replace blade protector, [Fig. 01].
2. Align hole in flange and housing, [Fig. 02].
3. Insert Allen Key (supplied) into hole in flange and housing.
4. Grip the cast head and rotate anti-clockwise to remove.
5. Refitting is in reverse order.

Fitting line
1. Cut a length of line to 45 cm, bend it in half (equal ends). Use only 3 mm diameter nylon line, [Fig. 03, Pag. 04].
2. Push the bent end of the line under the lug of the trimmer head, [Fig. 04, Pag. 04].
3. Push one end of the line into the hole on the same side of the head as the line end. Pull the line through the
hole until loops or slack between the hole and centre lug is removed, [Fig. 05, Pag. 05].
4. Repeat step 3 for opposite side, [Fig. 06, Pag. 05].
5. Refer to image for correct complete assembly of the nylon line into the head, [Fig. 07, Pag. 05].
Removing line
1. To remove used line, bend new line as in, [Fig. 03, Pag. 04], slide new line under used line through slot in cast head,
[Fig. 08, Pag. 04].
2. Holding both ends of the new line together, pull the old line out of the cast head, [Fig. 09, Pag. 04].
3. Repeat process for the other side, [Fig. 10, Pag. 04].
Caution
• Always trim with the correct length of nylon line 45 cm.
• Always ensure that all components are firmly fastened before starting any operation.
• Unequal lengths will cause vibration and damage to unit.
