Note: Trim the following pipes to size subject to boiler mounting height.
Hot water / cold water
Fit the cold and hot water connections to the wall. Connect the DHW cylinder with the
cold and hot water pipes to the existing cold and hot water fittings.
- Trim the DHW pipe from the connection set to size and insert the support sleeves

into the DHW pipe.
Insert the DHW pipe into the straight connector on the DHW cylinder and tightly
secure the DHW pipe on the DHW cylinder with compression fittings and with flat
packing on the DHW connector.
- Cold water supply excl. safety assembly:
Trim the cold water pipe from the connection set to size.
Insert the support sleeve into the straight connector on the DHW cylinder and tightly
secure the cold water pipe on the DHW cylinder cold water connector with compression
fittings.
- Cold water connector incl. safety assembly, excl. pressure reducer or safety
assembly incl. pressure reducer:
Pre-assemble the safety assembly excl. pressure reducer or safety assembly incl.
pressure reducer using the pipe components supplied. (The cold water pipe from
the connection set is surplus to requirements). Trim the pipe components to size
and fit tightly using the support sleeves and compression fittings.
Please note: Shut-off equipment, dirt traps or other restrictions must not be
installed between the DHW cylinder and the safety valve.
- Trim the DHW cylinder flow pipe from the connection set and locate on the cylinder
side with a union nut and locking ring.
Insert the support sleeve into the pipe.
Secure the DHW cylinder flow pipe with a compression fitting on the DHW cylinder
and with flat packing on the three-way diverter valve.
- Trim the DHW cylinder return pipe from the connection set and locate on the cylinder
side with a union nut and locking ring.
Insert the support sleeve into the pipe.
Secure the DHW cylinder flow pipe with compression fitting on the DHW cylinder and
with flat packing on the gas fired boiler.
DHW
return
Fill the heating system and vent carefully. Also vent at the air-vent valve in the cylinder
flow.
Fill the DHW cylinder.
Switch ON the boiler and set the required DHW temperature at the boiler control unit:
Setting 1:
15°C
Setting 9: approx. 65°C
