Operation
Operate the speed controller:
Allowing by searching the correct place for the speedcontroller on the RC-car
- Fix the Speedcontroller on the farthest distance to receiver.
- enough wire-length from battery to speedcontroller/Speedcontroller to motor.
- Search for a clean and flat underground to fix the speedcontroller on the chassis.
Fix the controller with a
- When you wish to use other wire-connector, be careful and make not short circuit.
- The RC motor connector, YELLOW wire is positive, GREEN wire is negative.
- Push the matched RX/ plug into the receiver channel 2 (throttle).
- Turn on the transmitter (TX), check the band matched to RX an dleave the TX in the neutral
position (include trimmer).
- Plug in battery pack, power on the speed controller.
- Press and hold the setup button 2 seconds until LED starts blinking.
- Pull full throttle and then full brake on transmitter (TX) to return to neutral, when LED off,
set up is complete.
If motor is allready attached with capacitors, it is not necessary to apply the capasitors
provided with this product.
Tips:
- Before plugging a battery pack into the speed control make sure the red (batt+) and black
(batt-) wires on the speed control line up with the wires on the battery pack.
- When properly calibrated, the red LED comes off at full throttle.
- The reverse delay allows the brakes to comes on for a while before the reverse kicks in, full
reverse delay is set to 2 seconds.
- When red LED comes on and throttle dead, overheating protection is activated.(please
reduce the size of pinion gear.) Just allow speed controller to cool down to return to normal.
Please avoid continous usage of speed controller and using reverse exessively.
- When using rubber drift tire, it will increase the load of speed controller. So please use a
smaller size pinion gear.
Warning!!
Do not use under extremly high temperatures. Protect from water.
Read operating instructins carefully before usind the speed controller.
Do not touch the heatsink, which may be very hot!
Do not short circuit to the fins of heatsink.
Do not put off the heatsink when using the controller.
Use allways the right transmission.
Use a smaller pinion gear rather than a big one.
Only use 7,2 V NiCd or NiMH batterys.
Take the car on a safety car-stand when you make any settings on the
controller.
