3. FUNCTIONING
The special UV-A lamp is set to attract the flying insects to the appliance. When insects approach they remain stuck
on the glued paper supplied as a spare part. This appliance allows monitoring and capturing flying insect within
the environment nearby.
4. INSTALLATION
The appliance can be installed on a flat surface or wall mounted. An electrical outlet must be present nearby.
Position the appliance preferably at a height of about 6,5 feet, placing it in the darkest area of the room, far from
windows. This because the appliance must eliminate insects from indoor and must avoid to attract other of them
from outdoor inside the room.
When wall mounted, its bracket must be fixed by two screws on the wall. Using a drill bit of the same diameter of
the wall inserts, you must drill two holes into the wall and insert the wall inserts into the holes. Once the screws
are securely mounted into the wall, hang the appliance as shown on fig.1.
When you fix the bracket, you can remove the frame of the appliance in contact with the wall, by acting as follows:
put the (flat) tip of a screwdriver into the hole (A) at the bottom of the appliance, until it reaches the base of the
frame itself; then push the tip outward, removing the frame at the same time (fig. 1-2).
• Make sure that the wall where you plan to mount the appliance is solid, and free of electrical cables or water
pipes inside.
• The wall should be free from obstructions to allow easy removal of the glued paper and the cleaning of the
appliance.
5. REPLACEMENT OF THE STICKY PAPER
The glued paper must be replaced at least once a month or more if the environment is full of insects or very dirty.
The sticky paper must be inserted into the special guides of the panel, as shown in (fig. 3 - B). Before using, shift
away the protective film and the oval form from the adhesive paper (fig. 3 - C).
All rejected or use glued papers must be drained in accordance to the local regulations in which the appliance is
settled.
6. MAINTENANCE
• Before any maintenance or cleaning of the appliance make sure that the device is unplugged from the electrical
wall socket.
• A general cleaning of the appliance must be done each time that the glued paper is changed. For this operation
you must use a cleaning substance suitable to be used within food-processing environments.
• For a best performance of the appliance, we suggest to replace the lamp every 4000 hours. Do not replace
the lamp by yourselves, because it is a very dangerous operation that must be done by an authorised technical
assistance centre.

7. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

If you have questions regarding your appliance call your Dealer. In case of breakdown, malfunction or damage turn
the device off and take or send it to the nearest Assistance Centre.
Only authorised Technical Assistance Centres using original parts must do any repair.
