Confi guring FRITZ!DECT 210
You can confi gure and operate FRITZ!DECT 210 in the user interface of your FRITZ!Box.
The user interface can be opened on any computer connected with the FRITZ!Box:
1. Open a web browser.
2. Enter http://fritz.box in the address bar. The user interface opens.
3. Select "Smart Home" in the "Home Network" menu.
The "Smart Home" page appears, presenting a list of the registered Smart Home
devices.
Smart Home Settings
In the FRITZ!Box user interface you can edit all of the settings for FRITZ!DECT 210 under
"Smart Home".
Click on (Edit) and select a tab:

• defi ne the switch condition after a power outage
• enter your electricity rate
• switch off the LED display, prevent manual switching,
and confi gure a temperature off set
General
• enable push service. FRITZ!DECT will notify you by
email about device conditions such as energy con-
sumption.

Confi guring Automatic Switching
Here is how to confi gure automatic switching for FRITZ!DECT 210:
1. Open in the user interface the "Smart Home" page (see page 8).
2. Click on (Edit) and then "Switch Automatically".
3. Select the kind of switching and confi gure the automatic switching.
The various types of switching are described comprehensively in the online help of
the user interface.
4. Click "OK" to save your settings.
Switching Manually
You can switch FRITZ!DECT 210 manually, regardless of any automatic switching sched-
ule. The FRITZ!DECT socket is switched off upon delivery. Switch the FRITZ!DECT socket
• with the "On/Off " button directly on the device
• in the FRITZ!Box user interface on your computer, on the "Smart Home" page
• with a FRITZ!Fon cordless telephone
• with the MyFRITZ!App on your smartphone or tablet (see page 10)
Controlling FRITZ!DECT 210 Remotely with FRITZ!Fon
With FRITZ!Fon cordless DECT telephones from AVM you can switch FRITZ!DECT 210 on
and off , and show the energy display and the thermometer.
1. Press the Menu key on your FRITZ!Fon.
2. Select "Home Network" and then press "OK".
3. Select "Smart Home" and then press "OK".
FRITZ!DECT 210 and all other registered FRITZ! actuators are displayed along with their
switching status, energy display and thermometer.
