Instructions for AirMan Walrus
- High Performance Airpump
Always read the instructions before you start using the
AirMan Walrus High Performance Airpump the first time.
The instructions specify how to make optimal use of the
air pump and what precautions should be taken during
use.
Your new air pump is specially designed to provide sim-
ple, effective inflation of large inflatable objects such as
air mattresses, rubber beach toys and inflatable furniture.
The air pump supplies a large volume of air at a relatively
low pressure. Therefore this air pump cannot be used to
inflate objects that require a certain amount of pressure,
such as balls and car- and bicycle tyres. For this purpose
we recommend an AirMan High Pressure air pump.
Important - Read before use - See illustration 1
Some inflatable objects are equip-
ped with a stop valve (b), in addi-
tion to the main air valve for infla-
tion (a). The stop valve is located
on the bottommost part of the
inflation valve and must always
be open during inflation and defla-
tion. The air pump will be dama-
b)
ged if the stop valve is not open!
To open the stop valve (b), insert
the accompanying nozzle into
the inflation valve (a) so that the
stop valve (b) opens.
If none of the accompanying
nozzles fit the inflation valve on
the object to be inflated, squeeze
the bottommost part of the inflati-
on valve until the stop valve
opens (see illustration 2). The
desired inflation or deflation can
now be performed.
If the valve does not have a stop valve as shown in illu-
stration 1, simply choose a correctly fitting nozzle.
Inflation
Select an appropriate nozzle. Attach the hose (5) with
nozzle to the air pump's exhaust component (2), insert
the nozzle into the inflation valve and inflate the object.
Make sure that the stop valve is open, if one exists.
Deflation
Attach the hose (5) to the air pump's intake valve (3). Fol-
low the same instructions as specified above under "Infla-
tion". Make sure the stop valve is open!

Output
AirMan Walrus produces up to 750 L of air per minute.
The high output, however, is contingent on the size of the
valve on the object to be inflated - the smaller the valve,
the less the rate of airflow. Therefore always buy inflatab-
le objects with the largest valves possible!

General safety measures and precautions that apply to
the use of AirMan Walrus - High Performance Airpump
The safety measures specified below must be closely fol-
lowed! Safe operation of the air pump requires that you
must read the instructions and safety precautions care-
fully and follow all instructions before using the air pump.
1. The air pump is designed for occasional use. Inflation
over a long period will overheat the air pump and may
ruin it.
2)
2. The air pump must not operate for more than 10
minutes in continuous operation mode. After 10
minutes continuous operation it must be switched off
and set aside for cooling for at least 10 minutes
before restarting.
3. If the air pump emits abnormal sounds or overheats,
turn it off immediately and let it cool off for about 30
minutes.
4. Check the air pump before use. An expert should
repair damaged parts.
5. Incorrect use of the air pump may damage it.
6. Never expose the air pump to rain or frost or
temperatures above 50° C.
7. Never use the air pump near flammable fluids or
gases. Make sure your working area is well lit.
8. Protect yourself against electric shock. Avoid physical
contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes,
radiators, electric stoves, refrigerators, etc.
9. Never allow children to connect/disconnect the air
pump to/from power sources. Never leave children
unattended with the air pump and never allow them to
play with the accessories.
10. Never allow anyone to pump air into the mouth, ears,
nose or the like of people or animals. Never use the
air pump as a toy.
11. Store the air pump in a secure location. If the air
pump is not used for long periods of time, it should be
stored in a dry, locked space inaccessible to children.
12. Regularly check the cord and plug of the air pump.
Never carry the air pump by the cord and never pull
the plug out of the outlet by jerking the cord. Make
sure that the cord is not exposed to hot objects, oil or
sharp edges.

not in use.
15. Stay alert. Always pay attention to what you are doing
when working with the air pump.
16. Warning! For your own safety you should only use
