In the factory, the mode is set to beep only and the detection setting is in medium sensitivity.
Operation
●
At the first bark, a beep sound is emitted.
If another bark is detected within 30 seconds, another beep sound is emitted together with a static stimulation (light, progressive or
strong stimulation according to the selected operating mode). Inhibition of any further stimulation is dependent on the absence of
any barking within the next 30 seconds.
If your dog stops barking during 30 seconds, at the next bark, the collar will start its operating cycle from the beginning (beep
sounds only).
The stimulation function can be inhibited selecting operating mode Nr 1. In this case, only beep sounds will be emitted.
After being activated 5 times in quick succession, the collar will automatically go into safety mode for 30 seconds (the
red and green lights flash at the same time) before restarting itself normally.
Changing operating modes
●
In the factory, the collar is set to mode Nr 1 (beep sound only).
To change the collar's mode,
1) Directly on the collar:
When switching on the collar, keep the magnetic key in contact with the mark
After the beep sound indicating that the collar is on, a series of beep sounds together with indicator light flashes is emitted (from 1
to 4) indicating the selected mode.
Keep the magnetic key in contact with the red mark to run through modes.
Remove the magnetic key when you have reached the mode you wish. The collar will memorize your selected mode.
The flashing lights have changed from red to red + green, indicating that the collar is operating in a selected mode
using the magnetic key (magnet). The blue flashing light corresponds to Bluetooth.
Next time you will switch on the collar, your collar will be turned on to the last mode you previously selected.
Via the application: (Refer to Using the collar with the CANICALM Smart app)

Setting the barking detection sensitivity (adjustable function only via the Canicalm Smart app on your Smartphone)
Your dog's barking is detected by one of the contact points which sense the vibrations of his vocal cords (See Diagram 1).
In the factory, detection sensitivity is set on to a medium sensitivity level.
To adapt the detection level to the barking power of your dog, you must open the CANICALM Smart application on your smartphone
and move the cursor to the right (+) or to the left (-) depending on the level of detection longed for.
Checking/Replacing battery
●
The battery condition is checked in 2 distinct occasions:
when switching On the collar:
5 beep sounds + indicator light flashes in red 5 times (instead of 1 beep sound + 1 flash) = weak battery
when switching Off the collar:
5 beep sounds + indicator light flashes in red 5 times (instead of 3 beep sounds + permanent red) then the collar goes out =
weak battery
Prepare to replace the battery.
When a low battery level is reached, the product goes into safety, it is out of order. Stimulations are no longer necessarily delivered.
If you use the application, a disconnection between the collar and the application can also be noticed.
In this case, please change the battery of the collar.
Due to greater use during your dog's training, the first battery may not last as long as replacement batteries.
NUM'AXES advises to use the same type and same brand of batteries as those supplied in your new purchased product.
Other brands of batteries may not operate, or may not be completely compatible with your product.
You can purchase the suitable batteries from NUM'AXES or from your distributor.
Replace the old battery as follows:
