CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
ENSURE HOUSING CONNECTIONS ARE
COMPATIBLE WITH THE SYSTEM PIPEWORK.
DO NOT OPEN THE HOUSING WHEN THERE
IS RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN THE SYSTEM.
Ensure all personnel employ safe work practices
when handling and installing all items and
pressure equipment.
Provide devices that afford adequate protection
against the dangers of exceeding allowable filter
housing pressure limits under reasonable
operating conditions. In the event of over-
pressurization from an external fire, the
protective devices should be able to meet all
damage limitation requirements.
Avoid excessive pipe loads when mounting the
manifold in its operating position.
Do not allow process liquids or other liquids in
contact with housings to freeze.
Be careful not to damage the filter pressure
vessel when removing the packaging.
Housings and capsules are not intended for use
in gas, vapor service or vacuum applications,
unless otherwise indicated in sales literature,
drawings, or technical addenda.
Do not use liquids with boiling points of less
than 100°C as lubricants for cartridges with
double O-ring seals. The vapor pressure at
service temperatures may result in high
pressures between the seals and possible
damage to the cartridge, which could cause
cartridge bypass.
The filter housing does not include a
filter cartridge.
