EFECTUAR LOS CONTROLES PRELI-
MINARES.
Para eliminar la suciedad y el fango de-
positados en las superficies pintadas, es
necesario utilizar un chorro de agua a
baja presión, mojar cuidadosamente las
partes sucias, eliminar el fango y la su-
ciedad con una esponja suave para ca-
rrocería, embebida en abundante agua y
champú (2 ÷ 4 partes de champú en
agua). Luego enjuagar con abundante
agua y secar con una gamuza. Para lim-
piar las partes exteriores del motor, utili-

zar detergentes desengrasantes, pince-
les y trapos. Las partes de aluminio
anodizado o pintado como horquillas,
llantas, chasis, estribos, etc. se deben la-
var con jabón neutro y agua. El uso de
detergentes demasiado agresivos puede
arruinar el tratamiento de la superficie de
estos componentes.

EN DETERGENTE NEUTRO Y AGUA,
FROTANDO CON DELICADEZA LAS
SUPERFICIES Y ENJUAGANDO FRE-
To clean off dirt and mud deposited from
painted surfaces, soften caked dirt with a
low-pressure water jet. Sponge off using
a car body sponge soaked in a car body
shampoo and water solution (2 ÷ 4%
parts of shampoo in water). Then rinse
with plenty of water, and dry with a cha-
mois leather. To clean the engine outer
parts, use degreasing detergent, brushes
and old cloths. Anodised or painted alu-
minium parts such as forks, rims, frame,
footrests etc. should be washed using
water and mild soap. Using aggressive
detergents may damage the surface
treatment of these components.
TO CLEAN THE HEADLIGHTS USE A
SPONGE SOAKED IN WATER AND
MILD DETERGENT, RUBBING THE
SURFACE GENTLY AND RINSING
FREQUENTLY WITH PLENTY OF WA-
TER. REMEMBER TO CLEAN THE VE-
HICLE CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLY-
ING SILICON WAX POLISH. DO NOT
POLISH MATT-PAINTED SURFACES
