ENGINE DISASSEMBLY
•
Position the engine on a working bench and proceed as follows:
– Remove the exhaust pipe.
– Disconnect the carburettor and the air fi lter box.
– Disconnect the electric system wiring from the engine included
the starter motor.
– Remove all screws and bolts that fi x the engine to the frame.
– Remove the rear brake cable from the wheel.

Remove the original piston-cylinder assy as follows:
– Remove the air conveyor and the cooling fan.
– Remove the valve cover.
– Remove the cover that wraps the cylinder.
– Bring the engine at the top dead centre during the compression
stroke.
