Adjusting the load (spring tension)
To prevent wear of the compressed-air hose, the air hose
balancer comes factory-preset to minimum load.
After suspending the balancer, set it to maximum load ("X"
rotations) with no working load attached at this stage,
applying a 6-mm hexagon-socket (Allen) wrench to the
shaft (6) and turning it "X" times in the "+" direction.

Never preload of the spring beyond the maximum

specified for the respective model!
Note that the non-loaded air hose can recoil violent-
ly and damage the device!
You can now adjust the spring tension to the weight of your
current working load.
To reduce the spring tension, apply the Allen wrench to
the shaft (6), then press the shaft inwards and rotate coun-
terclockwise in the "-" direction until the weight of the sus-
pended load is perfectly balanced. Now make sure that the
shaft engages and withdraw the wrench.
To increase the spring tension, rotate the shaft in the "+"
direction using the Allen wrench.
Hose stop buffer
The hose stop buffer can be easily adjusted by simply mov-
ing the hose clip (5) in the desired direction. Be sure to lock
the clip securely in place after each adjustment.
Never exceed the maximum permissible hose extension
length (irrespective of whether the hose length has been
increased or not)!
Maintenance & repair
The hose balancer must be serviced on a regular basis. All
external moving parts as well as the friction points on the
suspension must be regularly greased.
The suspension and the hose of the balancer must be daily
monitored. If damage is detected, the balancer must be
replaced immediately.
Be sure to use only genuine replacement parts.
