Operating Instructions
Operation (Cont.)
NOTE: The air shut-off valve (red knob)
does not have to be opened to fill the
tank.
3. Inflate object by locking universal
adapter onto valve stem. Be sure to
press universal adapter down over
valve stem threads completely.
When universal adapter is firmly in
place, press locking lever down to
lock onto valve stem (see Figure 2).
4. Open air shut-off valve by turning
counterclockwise to allow air to
flow into hose.

being filled. Use a separate gauge to
check the object.
5. Turn the air shut-off valve clockwise
to the closed position when storing

Possible Cause(s)
Air leaks
1.
Universal adapter dirty
and not sealing
2a. Hose damaged
2b. Hose connection to
manifold loose
3a. Gauge damaged
3b. Gauge connection
loose
4a. Manifold damaged or

5.
Pin hole from internal
rusting
1. Gauge not reading correctly
2. Compressed air source
below 85 psi
1. Fill valve obstructed or

Corrective Action
Use mild soapy water to locate leak
1.
Clean dirt from universal adapter. Close hose shutoff valve
and replace hose assembly
2a. Replace hose assembly
2b. Remove hose, apply thread sealant and tighten fitting into
place
3a. Replace gauge
3b. Remove gauge, apply thread sealant and tighten
4a. Replace manifold
4b. Remove manifold, apply thread sealant and tighten
5.
Replace tank
1. Check air pressure at fill stem with tire pressure gauge.
Replace gauge if gauge reads differently
2. Locate compressed air source of 85 to 125 psi
1. Inspect opening for foreign material, clean or replace
2. Locate compressed air source of 85 to 125 psi
1. Tank pressure must exceed tire pressure. Increase tank
pressure
2. Turn red knob on manifold counterclockwise to fully open,
1-1/2 turns
3. Replace hose assembly
Hold tank upside down with manifold tilted down. Pull ring on
safety relief valve until air pressure and liquid are fully drained.
Refill with clean, dry air

low internal pressure to force the
water out through relief valve.
