2 – Length Adjustment
Towel length can be adjusted by pressing button. Each time button is pressed the towel length that will
be dispensed will change. Every time that the length is adjusted the LED light will flash indicating the
length that has been selected.

3 – Delay
The delay (between dispensing) can be adjusted by pressing this button. Each time the button is pressed
the delay will change. This change is accompanied by the LED light flashing a different color indicating
which delay has been selected.

4 – Hygienic Mode
The Smart System can be set to one of two different operating modes. While in the STANDARD MODE
the unit will dispense the selected towel length. Once the paper is torn off it will automatically dispense
another length. While in the HYGIENIC MODE only 4.5" of the selected towel length will initially be
dispensed. Once this length is pulled on, the designated length (8", 10", 12") will be dispensed resulting
in a total length of 12.5", 14.5", and 16.5" respectively. (Ideally, Hygiene Mode should be operated
when paper is loaded off front.)
Each time button is pushed the Mode will be changed and be accompanied by the LED light flashing a
different color indicating which Mode has been selected.

5 – Factory Default Settings
Pressing this button will change settings to the factory default settings. Pressing this button is indicated
by a rapid red/green fluttering LED light.

Using the Dispenser
After loading paper & adjusting settings, simply close the cover. The appropriate towel length will be
dispensed and The Smart System is now ready for operation.
Problems
Typical problems can be solved by opening and closing cover. If that fails to resolve problem, try removing and then reinserting the
batteries. If that fails, try replacing with new batteries.
If problems still persist, please call San Jamar Customer Care (1-800-248-9826), and
a new replacement drive module will be sent to you, until the problem is fixed.
