Battery Loading
The Smart System is designed to work with 4-D cell Alkaline batteries. Do not use re-chargeable or
NiCad batteries in this dispenser as it may cause damage.
Take care to load batteries in correct orientation, with positive end of battery towards the right as you
are facing the dispenser.
Note: If batteries are loaded incorrectly, The Smart System will not function.
Usage Data to PDA
The Smart System can communicate usage data to your PDA. The SJSS software can be downloaded
from www.sanjamar.com. There are two versions available: 1) For Palm OS based PDAs and 2) For
Pocket PC/Windows CE based PDAs.
1) Download and hot sync the software.
2) Go to the "Please Read SRT" screen.
3) Point the PDA to the LED and usage data is transferred to your PDA.

Adjusting Settings

This light is the status indicator. When cover is open (service mode) light will flash indicating battery
status
