Operating mode S1 (continuous operation)
The equipment can be continuously operated with the
quoted power output.
Operating mode S2 (temporary operation)
The equipment may be temporarily operated with the
quoted power output 2 min.
The stipulated values are emission values and so do not
necessarily represent safe working values.
Although there is a correlation between emission levels
and exposure levels, it is not possible to reliably deter-
mine whether additional protective measures will be re-
quired or not based on this. Factors that could influence
the exposure level present at any given time in the work
area include the duration of exposure, the nature of the
working area, other noise sources etc. e.g. the number
of machines and neighbouring processes. The permitted
workstation values can also vary from country to country.
However, this information should enable the operator to
better evaluate the hazards and risks.

7. Before starting the equipment

Assembly
The installation of the equipment requires two
open-ended wrenches (size 12).
• Assemble all parts before filling in fuel and oil in or-
der to prevent the fluids from leaking out.
• Assemble the foot (16) , wheels (14) and push bar
(18) as shown in Figures E - H.

• To mount the wheels, first slide the axle (15) through
the mountings on the bottom of the generator and fit
the wheels (14) as shown on Figure F.
Electrical safety
• Electric supply cables and connected equipment
must be in perfect condition.
• The generator is to be operated only with equip-
ment whose voltage specifications conform to the
generator's output voltage.
• Never connect the generator to the power supply
(socket-outlet).
• Keep the cable length to the consumer as short as
possible.
Environmental protection
• Dispose of soiled maintenance material and opera-
ting materials at the appropriate collection point.
• Recycle packaging material, metal and plastics.
Connecting to earth
• The housing must be connected to earth in order to
discharge static electricity. To do this, connect one
end of a cable to the earth connection (4) on the
generator (Fig. B) and the other end to an external
earth.
Refuelling
Warning! Petrol is highly inflammable and explosive.
When handling fuels, you may suffer burns or other
severe injuries.
Use petrol with an octane rating of at least 90 octane.
Only use fresh, clean fuel.
Water or impurities in the petrol damage the fuel system.
Tank volume: 13 litres
Only fill the tank up to the marking in the fuel strainer.
Note that fuel expands.
Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine stop-
ped. If the engine was in operation immediately befo-
re, allow it to cool first.
Never refuel the engine in a building where the petrol
vapour may come into contact with flames or sparks.
Do not smoke whilst refuelling or in the area in which
the petrol is stored and prevent naked flames or
sparks under these circumstances.
After refuelling, ensure that the tank cover is closed
correctly and securely again. Take care!
Mop up spilled petrol immediately.
If petrol is spilled, ensure that the area is dried before
starting the engine.
Avoid repeated or long contact of the fuel with the
skin and avoid breathing in the fumes.
Keep the fuel out of the reach of children.
If there are occasional taps or knocks from the engi-
ne, you should use a different brand of petrol. If this
does not solve the problem, contact an authorised
dealer.
WARNING: Operating the engine with continuous ig-
nition tapping or knocking can result in damage to
the engine. Operating the engine with continuous
ignition tapping or knocking is considered improper
use. The manufacturer is not responsible for the re-
sulting damages; the user solely bears the risk.
