• Ventilation available. It is not necessary to install the whole chain into an extrac-
tion cabinet, but the room must have windows or air removal system to ventilate if
some time any gas leakage is produced (The Kjeldahl digestion gases are not toxic
but irritant).
• At least 2 electricity plugs must be available.
• Water tap and drainage are not necessary but suggested.
• The surface must be flat, stable and strong.
Hoses Connecting:
Connect the hoses according the following diagram:
Only VITON, TEFLON or suitable material must be used for hoses.
Fill the bottle indicated on the scrubber with the reagents according 6.2.1.
Fill the pump blue plastic tank with around 10-12 litres of low calcium content water.
Hoses for connection:
If the supplied hose set is too short to use, you can contact with J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
dealer with the following specification:

6. Operation

6.1 Water circulating vacuum pump

It is formed with a motor-pump that produces a water circulation through two water
jet pumps which produce the vacuum.
The TAP1 and TAP2 ports aspirates an air flow rate around 10L/min each one. The
succioned air is melt on the tank water.
In order to increase the vacuum pump life, it is strongly suggested to use the scrubber
unit before the pump to neutralize the gas that comes from the digestor.
Apply this configuration for water pump 40001612:
• Switch «CIRCULATING WATER»: OFF position.
• Empthing tube: «Closed»
• Do not connect anything on IN and OUT water ports.
