NOTE:
These instructions describe how to assemble the ESS Emergency Stop Signal
on the Duke III. The same procedure is used on other models.
NOTE:
For torques, see the Owner's Manual of the respective model.
Preparations
- Remove the seat (see the Owner's Manual).
- Take off the fuel tank.
- Remove the screw (9).
- Press on the small metal plate (10) and detach the fuel hose con
nection.
Remaining fuel may run out of the fuel hose.
- Raise the fuel tank at the front.
- Press on the small metal plate (11) and detach the fuel hose connection.
- Detach the electrical plug-in connection (12) of the fuel pump.
- Detach the electrical plug-in connection (13) of the fuel tank
sensor.
- Take off the fuel tank.
