Safety Warnings for
Heat Guns
Before Operating the Heat Gun
• Take your time assessing the job and double-checking all
the caution measures before starting to operate the heat
gun.
WARNING
• Wear gloves all the time when working
with the gun to protect your hands from high
temperatures. Otherwise you are exposed to severe burns.
WARNING
• When using the heat gun to remove
paint, wear a mask with a filter to prevent from breathing
toxic fumes. Keep the area ventilated when working inside.
While operating the Heat Gun
DANGER
• Before connecting the tool, verify that
the switch is off ("O" position), otherwise it may start
unexpectedly and may cause severe injuries or fire.
• Connect the plug to the wall outlet
• Depending on the volume and speed of air needed for
the job, move the switch to any of its 2 positions. Position 2
offers a greater air flow than position 1.
DANGER
• Never aim the gun when switched ON
to people or animals. Keep passersby away from the work
area.
WARNING
• Hold the gun by the handle and never
by the air duct side to prevent being exposed to a severe
burn.
CAUTION
• Wait until the gun's air duct cools down
completely before setting or replacing accessories.
• Use the heat gun stand when setting
CAUTION
the gun to rest onto a flat and stable surface in a resting
position and aim the air duct pointing upwards, away from
any object or material that could be sitting in the same
surface. Prevent accidents (A).
After Operating the Heat Gun
CAUTION
• Wait until the heat gun cools down
completely before storing it in a safe place away from the
reach of children.
Counterindications
CAUTION
• Do not try to defrost plastic pipes
because the material will get damaged and it may be
need to replace them.
