Do not attempt to install the filter.
Tools recommended for installation:
Gather the required tools before starting installation.
Read and follow the instructions provided with any tools listed here.
• A. O. Smith filter
• Teflon tape
®
• Adjustable wrench
• Pipe cutter
• Two (2) 3/4 gate valves
(compression type)
Note: We recommend using an approved or certified professional if drilling is required.
• Two (2) 3/4" male x 3/4" male street
adaptors for household pipe
• When installing on metallic plumbing:
two (2) grounding clamps and
#4 copper wire
