Install the cable management arm and slide rails

1. Install the cable arm bracket to the inside of the chassis
using three #6 flat-head screws.
2. Attach the shorter of the cable management arms to
the bracket using two #10 pan-head screws. The longer
arm will attach to the rack.
3. If you ordered an additional cable management arm,
attach it and its bracket to the other side of the chassis.

1. Separate the two parts of the slide rails by pressing on
the retainer spring while pulling the rails apart.
2. Using the four #8 screws supplied, attach each slide rail
to both sides of the chassis.
3. Attach the mounting hardware and then attach the
other half of the slide rails to the rack.
NOTE
Refer to the DIGITAL Server Rack Installation Guide for
information on attaching the slide rails to the rack.
4. Using two people, install the server into the slide rails
in the rack.
If you ordered an additional cable management arm,
attach it and its bracket to the other side of the chassis.
CAUTION
Removing the top cover activates a power
interlock switch.
