5.3. DIRECTION OF CONTROL
The direction of control is defined in the sales order. However, it can be modified by the user.
With reverse control, the output is active as long as the measurement remains below the
setpoint, it becomes inactive above. This is the mode used for heating applications: the closer
the required temperature is, the less heating is applied.
Direct control operates in the opposite way: the output of the controller is active when the
measurement is higher than the setpoint.
To modify the direction of control, make or cut the link at J2 using a soldering iron.
