Parking Safely

1. Stop machine on a level surface, not on a slope.
2. Disengage mower blades or any other attachments.
3. Lower attachments to the ground.
4. Lock the park brake.
5. Stop the engine.
6. Remove the key.
7. Wait for engine and all moving parts to stop before you
leave the operator's seat.
8. Close fuel shut-off valve, if your machine is equipped.
9. Disconnect the negative battery cable or remove the
spark plug wire(s) (for gasoline engines) before servicing
the machine.

Install Fender Kit

CAUTION: Avoid injury! The machine can fall or
slip from an unsafe lifting device or supports.
• Use a safe lifting device rated for the load to
be lifted.
• Lower machine onto jack stands or other
stable supports and block wheels before
servicing.
Raise and secure front of machine, and remove front wheel
assembly on each side.
Install LH Fender Bracket - 2WS Machines

1. Position LH fender bracket (A) at inside of left axle

housing (B), aligning the two mounting holes with existing
holes in the axle housing. At each mounting hole, place a
spacer bushing (C) between the bracket flange and the
axle housing and secure with an M10x25 bolt (D), installed
through the bracket and spacer into the housing. Tighten to
20 N•m (15 lb-ft).
Install LH Fender Bracket - 4WS Machines

1. Remove and discard two M10x25 flange head bolts (E)
from each side of the left front axle arm (F).

2. Install LH fender bracket (A) onto left front axle arm (F),
and over existing mounting holes where original M10 flange
bolts were just removed. Secure with non-flanged M10x25
bolts (D). Tighten to 61 N•m (45 lb-ft).
