Thank you for purchasing the Seamax electric trolling motor. It has been designed, engineered and
manufactured to give you the best possible dependability and performance for years of enjoyment. As
constant product improvement, we reserve the right to change parts and components without further
notice. Please read and retain this manual before using this electrical motor. This manual contains
information that describes the procedure for safe operation and daily maintenance of your electrical
motor. Safe operation will prevent personal injury and product damage.
Local customers can first contact the place of purchase for your motor service. Online customers contact
Seamax customer service 1877-907-7766 or email [email protected] for all your inquiries. We
can provide UPS return waybill to get your item back to our service depot within warranty period. Do not
return the motor to Amazon.
LIMITED WARRANTY INFORMATION
Duration of Coverage
Seamax electric trolling motors are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in
material and/or workmanship for two (2) years from the date the product is sold. Warranty is NOT
transferable to any subsequent purchaser. The repair or replacement of parts, or the performance of
service under this warranty, does not extend the life of this warranty beyond its original expiry date.
How to Obtain Warranty Coverage
To obtain warranty service, the purchaser shall contact Seamax for return authorization before deliver or
return the unit. Products returned by courier should be carefully packaged and include a note describing
the nature of the problem and/or service requested, customer address, and phone number. A copy of the
sales receipt, order form, or other proof of purchase is required with the return of the product for
warranty consideration. Warranty claims will not be accepted without presentation of purchase receipt
for electric trolling motor.
The authorized seller will then arrange for the inspection and any necessary repair. The purchaser in that
case shall pay for all related transport charges and/or travel time. If the service provided is not covered by
the limited warranty, purchaser shall pay for all related labor and material, and any other expenses
associated with that service.
Conditions That Must Be Met In Order To Obtain Warranty Coverage
Warranty coverage is only available from an authorized dealer to distribute the product in the country in
which the sale occurred. Proper routine product maintenance is required to maintain warranty coverage.
SEAMAX reserves the right to make future warranty coverage possible only with proof of proper
maintenance.
