Check water flow
The water flow through the boiler can
be checked with two different methods
shown below.
∆T measurement
Check the temperature difference over
the boiler (∆T flow-return) when the
boiler is running on 100% load.
To ensure correct operation of the boiler,
the ∆T should not exceed the max. ∆T
as indicated in the technical data.
An indication of the actual flow rate can
be found with the following calculation:
∆p measurement
Check the pressure difference over
the boiler (∆p flow-return) when the
boiler pump is running (burner on is not
required). The nominal Δp for each
boiler type can be found in the Technical
data.
