Wiring the System

Connecting the Energy Meter

Use a 3-wire shielded twisted pair cable, 0.2 (0.2-1) mm² 600V or CAT5.
1.
Connect one end of the communication cable to the Energy Meter.
Left DIP > OFF
2.
Open Communication Gland 2 and insert the other end of the communication cable into the inverter.
3.
Insert the meter wires into the connector as shown above and tighten them with the screws.
4.
Make sure all DIP switches are set as shown above.

Connecting the Battery

WARNING!
The battery must be powered off before wiring.
For DC connection - Use a 35 or 50 mm
For communication – Use a shielded Ethernet cable (CAT5/5E STP).
1.
Crimp and heat-shrink the supplied lugs to the battery DC cables.
2.
Remove the plastic cover from the battery terminals.
3.
Connect the DC cables to the battery terminals and tighten with a
torque of 5N*m/3.7lb*ft.
4.
Pass the non-crimped ends of the DC cables through a 48 mm
ferrite bead supplied with the inverter.
5.
Pass the non-crimped ends of the DC cables from the inside of
the inverter outwards, through the battery DC input glands. The
correct polarity is marked on the inverter.
6.
Reinstall the plastic cover on the inverter's battery terminals.
7.
Pass the CAN bus cable through Communication Gland 1.
8.
Connect the cable to the CAN bus connector.
9.
Set the DIP switches on the CAN bus board:
Two right DIP switches - Switch to ON.
Left DIP switch (PIN 2 - PIN 6) - Selects a grounding PIN for
the CAN bus connector. Set according to battery
manufacturer's instructions.
