Installation

Prior to installation

■ The built-in cooktops are designed for integration into the kitchen worktop with
suitable cut-out. The associated control unit is built into the bottom cabinet
front cover.
■ The appliance must be installed and connected to the power supply according
to the instructions in this manual. All installation work must be carried out by an
approved installer/electrician.
■ Dispose of the packaging material according to the applicable statutory
regulations.
■ Before connecting the appliance, ensure that the local connection (gas type
and pressure) corresponds to the appliance settings.
Observe the special regulations of your gas supplier.
■ The settings of your hob are specified on the appliance plate at the bottom of
the gas cooktop.
■ This appliance is not connected to a waste gas extraction system. It must be
installed and connected according to the applicable statutory instillation
regulations. Ensure suitable ventilation at the location of installation.
